About
I’m a first-year student at Yale in Berkeley College, studying the History of Science, Medicine, and Public Health and working toward an Advanced Language Certificate in Spanish. I’m especially interested in how healthcare connects with communication and advocacy, and I hope to bring that perspective, along with empathy and strong people skills, into patient care.
My experience in speech and debate has taught me how to really listen, communicate clearly, and stay composed in fast-paced situations. I’ve also started youth programs in debate and foreign language, which reflects how much I value education and creating opportunities for others. More broadly, I care deeply about service and social justice, whether that’s through fundraising for Ukrainian refugees or working on student-led efforts to promote equity in STEM.
Overall, I’m looking to be part of a care environment where patients feel respected, heard, and supported.
