As an CNA student I learned some of the best essential skills and knowledge on how to provide basic care for patients in healthcare settings, specifically skilled nursing facilities. I study topics like anatomy, infection control, patient hygiene, mobility assistance, and vital sign monitoring. My training included both classroom instruction and hands-on clinical labs. These journey inspired me to enroll for my RN. I understand my roll as I will be supporting the nurses and improving patients comfort and safety. During my labs I understood how challenging but rewarding, this role is. I know Im ready to offer a strong foundation for a career in healthcare.
